Hello my name is Jarred. This is my new blog. I would like to tell you about my self.  I'm 26 years old. I've have been a Christian since my childhood growing up. But I wasn't a devout Christian until 2003 in freshman year in high school. I have two older brothers. One is 30 and other is 31. I have worked at a grocery for 9 years at HEB then now  I'm a security guard. Before I've give my life to the Lord, I was a gamefreak. I would playing video games every single day. I would go home after school, grab some cookeis, milk, and turn on the small tv that we used to have. My whole life was dedicated to play games. One time I've miss a  children church event because I was glued to the tv. Til the year 2003, God has showed up me. I can't even described how it happen. I was looking down my past life and I saw how horrible my life was. I had no social life but playing video games. I'm not here say that playing video games  are bad...but if you playing them in the morning, afternoon, and evening..you have no friends to hangout or going out having fun. On a Sunday morning, I've went to church. At the end of the service, the pastor ask if you like to give your life to Jesus or rededication. So I've raisd my hand up. The pastor encourage us to go up in the front and pray for the salvation prayer. After praying, the leaders took us to the hallway. The person talked to me and give me some information on what to do on my beginning walk with  God. The whole life change experience...it really has impacted me and my friends around me. One time at church, I had a friend I've went to school with, he came up to me after youth service," Jarred, you've have really changed. You used to  into girls but now your different." I was like wow! I didn't expect that coming! In my early walk, I used to read my bible all night long but I was hungry for Gods word. I kneel down by bed and pray, speak in tounges, and cried out to God. I've been buying books on tools for arguments against non believers, read fiction books such as left behind series, and watch Christian films. This pretty much sums up in my beginning walk with God. I pray this would this would inspire you.
